Lily-Falcon Crown

Words and Music: Andrixos Seljukroctonis

In our sweet homeland in the rich Heartland
Well ruled throughout the years
We cannot hide our well-earned pride
In the Crowns of Calontir.
From the Dragon's line in far-off time
The Falcon took to flight.
We were given room for the Lily's bloom;
Now that blossom brings delight.

As long as Falcon flies and rules the skies
Gleaming golden in the sun,
All will know the power of the Lily flower
For the Land and the Crown are one.

Join now as I sing to praise my king,
Likewise His wondrous Queen;
The age of Their rule gleams like a jewel
Such grace is rarely seen.
They have marked their arms with potent charms
That set Their path since birth;
There are none about who can truly doubt
They have proven well Their worth.

As long as Falcon flies and rules the skies
Gleaming golden in the sun,
All will know the power of the Lily flower
For the Land and the Crown are one.

In Three Rivers land They held command
And ruled that ancient fief'
Ne'er a finer pair coronets did wear
Was Their people's true belief.
But now a falcon king wears signet ring
And the Lily rules in peace,
And fills our hearts with joyous arts--
May Their blessings never cease.

As long as Falcon flies and rules the skies
Gleaming golden in the sun,
All will know the power of the Lily flower
For the Land and the Crown are one.

In the battle's press or strife and stress
They guard Their people well;
The Falcon's fame I will proclaim,
The Lily-lore I'll tell.
Though they did justly reign, Their days do wane,
And soon They will step down;
Through all my days I will sing praise
Of the Lily-Falcon Crown.

As long as Falcon flies and rules the skies
Gleaming golden in the sun,
All will know the power of the Lily flower
For the Land and the Crown are one.
